Mercedes-Benz has announced that its electric vehicle (EV) owners in North America will gain access to Tesla's extensive Supercharger network starting in February 2025.

This development allows Mercedes-Benz EV drivers to utilize Tesla's fast-charging infrastructure, significantly enhancing their charging options across the continent.

Access Details:

Adapter Availability: To facilitate this integration, Mercedes-Benz will offer NACS-to-CCS adapters for purchase through authorized dealerships at a price of $185.

Charging Integration: Tesla Supercharger locations will be incorporated into Mercedes-Benz's charging map application, supporting the Plug & Charge system for seamless charging initiation.

Future Models: Later in 2025, Mercedes-Benz plans to introduce vehicles equipped with factory-installed NACS ports, eliminating the need for adapters.

This collaboration positions Mercedes-Benz alongside other automakers, such as Ford, General Motors, and Nissan, in adopting Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS).

Tesla's Supercharger network currently comprises approximately 20,000 stalls across the United States and Canada, offering widespread coverage for EV owners.

In addition to this partnership, Mercedes-Benz is actively engaging in broader EV charging initiatives. The company is collaborating with solar energy firm MN8 Energy and the Ionna venture to expand the overall EV charging infrastructure, further supporting the adoption of electric mobility.
